Greetings to the North Carolina Blue and White Family! It is with much excitement and joy that I introduce the State's newsletter, Doves in Flight. This newsletter serves as a mechanism for distributing information, providing updates, sharing news and gaining more knowledge. Highlights will increase awareness of the work that we performing proving and supporting communities. We will celebrate the accomplishments of chapters, auxiliaries, and individual members and serve as a networking tool. This is a very exciting time in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. as we are "Building on the Principles of Zeta While Blazing New Paths." We look forward to having a newsletter that is interesting and relevant. Please participate by submitting information and spreading the good news of Zeta. Thank you for your continued commitment and dedication to "Making it Finer in North Carolina."

NC Chapters and Auxiliaries are encouraged to complete the Chapter Info Form so that we may spot light each chapter and auxiliary. Let's get to know each other through our spotlights. We need to hear from all North Carolina Blue and White families from Cherokee County to Manteo County. Our state is large and Zetas and Auxiliaries are AWESOME!!
All articles must include chapter name, person submitting information, and contact email.
Include the basics of what happened where and when it took place, and who is involved. These details are important, because they are the focal point of the article that fully informs the reader.
Submit news articles that answer the questions: who, what, where, how, and when? Remember that a news story can be creative and entertaining, too!
Length: Short features on specific topics may range from 500-1,000 words; longer pieces may range from 1,500-2,500 words. The editorial committee reserves the right to alter articles for space and content.
When submitting a photo please include a caption, identifying everyone in the photo from left to right. If more than 5 people are in the photo, please do not identify persons, but spotlight on major figure if applicable.
Photos need to be high resolution: 300 dpi or higher; Do not send photos that are not in focus.
